Double C Blondes
Specializing in the Fallou Bloodline of Blonde D'Aquitaine Cattle
Why Blondes?
Benefits of the Blonde breed:

*Adapt well to harsh environments
The breed's light color, short hair,
    active sweat glands and localized
    muscle control over skin movement
(similar to horses) give Blondes an
    advantage in the heat.

*Efficient feed converters
    In feedlot tests, Blondes consistently
convert feed at the rate of 5.3 - 6.5
pounds of feed per pound of grain.
Blondes are hardy foragers and readily
    convert low-grade forage to efficient
    gains.

*Calving ease
Studies have shown that 98% of births
    were unassisted. The Blonde female
has a larger, wider pelvic opening than
is noted in other similar European
    breeds. Blonde calves' long, narrow
    conformation makes delivery problems
    minimal.

*Docile temperament
Results in easier and safer handling and
    management.
Cross Breeding benefits:

*Increased calf growth rate

*Obtain the Blonde conformation
   and length of body

*Well developed muscling

*Finer bone structure

*Reduced external fat cover

*More docile disposition
